Filler injections are the perfect treatment for replacing volume at these key points, restoring youthful curves, enhancing certain facial features, and boosting hydration for an overall, naturally rejuvenated appearance.
Filler injections contain a smooth gel made from hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a naturally occurring substance in the skin that works to stabilise structure, attract and bind water, and improve elasticity. HA fills the space of volume loss which improves folds and wrinkles. It also stimulates skin cell renewal, significantly boosting hydration and improving skin elasticity, resulting in a plumper and more youthful complexion.
Filler is primarily used to smooth wrinkles around the mouth, eyes, and brows, to lift and enhance cheeks, to plump lips, and to soften nasolabial folds. It can also be used to smooth chin wrinkles, rejuvenate hands, and even fill in deep acne scars. Some also use filler to change the shape of a patient’s face, including filler nose jobs and chin augmentation.

BTA (Botulinum Toxin A)
Botulinum toxin A (BTA) is a neurotoxin that causes a flaccid paralysis of the local musculature and reduces skin tension. This reduction in the skin tensile force during the course of wound healing may represent a novel therapeutic target for treating keloids. Now one of the most widely performed noninvasive cosmetic procedures in the world.
BTA is most widely used to reduce wrinkles. It can also relax the masseter (chewing) or lower jaw muscles to make the face appear to be slimmer or “V” shape. Some patients can choose the treatment at the calves in order to have a pair of slimmer lower legs. Other indications of BTA include treatment of bruxism (teeth grinding), dynamic eye bags, bunny lines, gummy smile, subtle shaping of nose and eyebrows.
Injection of BTA at underarms or palms can reduce the transmission of nerve impulse to the sweat glands, thus suppress sweat production. Studies also suggest that BTA in a diluted form can be administered at various points on the face, a technique called Meso-BTA, to reduce oil production of the face and achieve a more lifted looks.
A BTA injection takes approximately 2 to 5 days for it to be effective in the area of the muscle. Fillers may also be required alongside Botox for deep lines. BTA has proven to remove and soften wrinkles quickly and is possibly the easiest approach in removing and softening the furrows.
