How it works
Thermage CPT uses RF to heat the skin, and this tightens collagen fibres that have become loose and stretched over the years. This deep-heating technology makes your skin smoother and firmer, by stimulating the production of new collagen, improving your appearance with a more vibrant look.
The device’s hand-piece delivers pulses of RF energy from the tip when it is pressed gently against your skin. In this process, energy penetrates deep into the skin. The RF energy heats the collagen fibres in the dermis and subcutaneous layers of the skin, while the tip cools and protects the skin’s surface from damage.
The Thermage treatment areas include excess skin on the upper or lower eyelid, eyelids which have developed a crepey texture, and fine lines around the eyes.
At the beginning of the treatment, the skin is cooled for the safety and comfort of the surface. The handheld device’s tip is placed on the treatment area. Then the RF energy does its magic by penetrating deep into the skin to heat the area. The cooling of the epidermis is done by applying cryogen.

Who is Suitable to Undergo the Treatment?
If you have any of the following – mild-to-moderate crepey skin texture, wrinkles, eye hooding, fine lines or crow’s feet – you are suitable to undergo the Thermage CPT Eye treatment. The ideal age for this procedure is between 35 and 60 years of age, and the candidate should not have excessive sun damage on the skin. You should also not be intending to undergo an eyelid surgery in the near future.
Safety & Side Effects
Thermage CPT Eye is a non-invasive and non-surgical treatment that has been approved by the FDA. You can continue with your daily activities after the treatment.
Post treatment, you should not experience pain or discomfort. If there is any redness after the treatment, it will subside after an hour. Likewise, if there is any swelling, it will be resolved within a day.
Usually, it takes up to six months to see the full results of a Thermage CPT treatment.
